The server I was hosted on before started going belly-up, so I moved over to www.bluehost.com (as recommended by E$). So far I’m pleased with the experience: it wasn’t seamless by any means, but there’s a good support team and other than a couple Gallery2 plugins that don’t work right, I’m back in action.

I installed the Subscribe To Comments plugin to allow email subscription to thread/comment updates.

The Cyberpir8 gallery has opened for user registration. I’ll be confirming all new registrations so use an email address or something that I’ll recognize so that I add you to the user list. There is really nothing special about being a registered user other than being allowed to leave named comments. Enjoy.

I don’t know if anyone actually wants to comment on my blog articles, but now they’re able to. I’ve installed the SecureImage plugin for WordPress so I can be relieved of most comment spam. So come one, come all! Enjoy the discussions.

I hate to promote a blatant abuse of public resources, but the Phone Losers of America (PLA) podcast is pretty hilarious when they abuse the relay operators that are intended to connect hearing- or speech-impaired people to other phone users.

Kristen and I adopted a cutie little puppy today! Her name is Domino (formerly Dali) and is a lab/hound mix. She’s 4 months old. Click the picture to see her photo album.
Right now she’s pretty nervous in the new house. She’s coming from a large litter so we think she’s suffering from a bit of separation anxiety (having no other puppies in the house), but she comes out of her shell little-by-little. Treats help.

Cyberpir8.net had a little problem recently… and so did ehough.com and notdrunk.net and… anyway, we’re back online and now I can keep working on the gallery.

We’ve been down for a while due to funding and time, but now cyberpir8.net is back online and better than ever. I huge shout out to those who got this server up and running and who keep it going smoothly every day.
