Why have me do it when Merriam-Webster can do it for me? See 1a, 1b, 3a
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/evil

1a: morally reprehensible : sinful , wicked <an evil impulse> b: arising from actual or imputed bad character or conduct <a person of evil reputation rel="nofollow">

2a archaic : inferior b: causing discomfort or repulsion : offensive <an evil odor> c: disagreeable <woke late and in an evil temper>

3a: causing harm : pernicious <the evil institution of slavery> b: marked by misfortune : unlucky

With the studly muffins over at MANDIANT (www.mandiant.com), this all refers to evil in the sense of information security. That could be malware, insider threat (data smuggling/exfiltration), poor system configuration (2a, 3b), and many other instances of nefarious behavior.
